Sepohon Kayu


This song was sung in front of me by my four kids while I'm dozing off on the sofa before one Friday prayers. Ilham was 11, Amna- 10, Adibah- 8 and Fathanah- 7 years old at that time. As I slowly opened my eyes, there they were, lined in a row in front of me singing: "Walaupun hidup seribu tahun, kalau tak sembahyang, apa gunanya..."
